Rapid Response
Our Rapid Response program is designed to meet urgent community needs and unexpected challenges by awarding grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.
This initiative ensures we are there for our partners when they face unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize their operations. These funds empower our community partners to maintain vital services and keep individuals safe from overdose without interruption. If left unaddressed, these issues could threaten an organization’s ability to provide essential services.
The Rapid Response program can assist with a variety of urgent needs, including:
- Bridging funding gaps to retain critical staff members
- Acquiring necessary equipment for drug checking and harm reduction that may otherwise be unaffordable
- Addressing funding shortfalls that arise from sudden increases in client demand
- Supporting frontline organizations in effectively meeting the needs of clients during high-volume periods or challenging events
Rapid Response grants may be awarded up to once per calendar year per organization, depending on funds available. If you have any questions, please contact grants@rizema.org.
